The day is broken into two sessions (morning and afternoon), and each session will be just over one hour long, allowing lunch and coffee breaks. Each participant will receive a manual of the course, a certificate of completion, and an opportunity to experience some “hands-on” training. This course will give attendees greater ability and confidence in:

  • Apprehending and handling stray dogs
  • Remaining safe at all times
  • Apprehension without undue reliance on extreme measures
  • Dealing with the public in high stress situations
  • Handling an injured dog assessment and transporting
  • Responding/defending a full-fledged dog attack
