Some studies have shown that animal control officers and by-law officers may be as much as four times more likely to be in dangerous situations as police officers. However they have a fraction of the training or equipment to defend themselves, and seldom have routine back up to call on or rely on. The only reasonable key to changing this is training in conflict management and avoidance. WE HAVE A SOLUTION!
It is the intention of this company to teach officers successful techniques in apprehending, handling and defending by transferring useful information and techniques in a friendly informative seminar environment, providing verbal, audio and visual teaching, memorable and captivating manner, with hands on application and activation.
These animal related courses are based from almost 30 years of in field experience of “trial and error” education. We have been very successful in greatly improving officer’s competence and confidence in the daily performance duties, fostering a pursuit of excellence within the enforcement industry as a whole.
Each session will be just under one hour long. Each participant will receive a manual of the course, a certificate of completion, and an opportunity to experience some “hands-on” training.
Enforcement Training Academy also assists organizations who are interested in updating or overhauling their existing enforcement structures and systems. It is our belief that excellence, integrity and diligence should under gird any quality enforcement delivery system, and we take up the challenge to pass that on to you in every way possible.
